Alberta is the optimal location for the development of Canadian drone production.
Edmonton - Calgary area is an intersection of the major transport corridors that
link Eastern and Western Canada, and Canadian Arctic to the southern part of the
country. The USV and UAV drones that we plan to develop and manufacture are not
a very bulky items, and can be transported by rails and roads using conventional
means of transportation. Alberta provides convenient access to the Canadian Pacific via rail and roads, and to the Western Arctic by rail to the Great Slave Lake, and then to the Arctic Ocean via Mackenzie River. It also has sufficiently convenient access to the Atlantic provinces, see the following Transport Canada map. Alberta also has a favourable business environment. |
