The unmanned aerial vehicles became a new weapon of choice by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Massive use of FPV UAV had largely compensate for shortage of the national production of artillery shells, and had balanced the situation at the battlefield. There were even reported cases of repulse the adversary offensive by a flock of Ukrainian FPV kamikaze drones alone.
