Sting

The Sting FPV quadcopter drone-interceptor was developed in Ukraine as a low-cost, agile solution to counter the Iranian Shaheed-136 attack drones and their Russian replica Geran'-2. It is built of camera, explosive charge, and quadcopter platform. The drone is detonated by the operator upon approaching the target. Sting entered service at the end of 2024, and was a success. The key operational parameters of the drone are:
  - Maximal altitude 3km
  - Speed 160 km/h
  - Operation: remote controlled by specially trained operator
    via VR goggles.
  - Communication: radio channel
  - Upcoming upgrades and modifications: the new version of the Sting drone had demonstrated the peak speed 326km/h.
It is planned to equip drones with target sensors. Future modifications will include artificial intelligence (AI) for optimised targeting.
The development of Sting was crowd-funded. It is manufactured by SME company at a rate 100 units per day, with planed increase to 600 units daily.

New interceptorsrs

The new Ukrainian interceptor drone developpment is "flying wing" all-composite returnable FPV drone, which was revealed in April of 2025. The drone is already operational, but its name and manufacturer are not revealed yet. The drone scored 20 Shaheed-136 and 10 reconnaissance drone kills during two months. The known operational parameters of the drone are:

  - Maximal altitude 5km
  - Speed 200 km/h
  - Activation: manual and automatic by proximity
  - Operation: remote controlled by specially trained operator,
via VR goggles. The drone employs day and nigt vision cameras
  - Communication: radio channel
